HTC working on 2 high-end Windows Blue tablets – reportMay 8, 2013 - 15:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - HTC will reportedly launch two high-end Windows tablets after Microsoft has rolled out its 'Blue' operating system update, Digital Spy said. The Taiwanese is preparing the 7-inch R7 and the 12-inch R12 for launch later this year, according to Phone Arena's sources. The R7 will reportedly boast a full HD, 1080p display and run off a powerful 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and 2GB of RAM. A 13-megapixel camera, 16GB of internal memory, microSD support, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and a 4G LTE radio are also rumoured. HTC's larger R12 device is said to feature the same core specs with additional connectivity options and a super high-resolution 2048x1536 display capable of rivalling Apple's latest iPad. Both tablets have been tipped for release in October, with Microsoft's Windows Blue update expected before the end of the year.
