Ramil Sararov to Undergo One More Forensic-Psychological Examination
Today the regular court session on the case of Azerbaijani serviceman Ramil Safarov charged of murder of Armenian officer Gurgen Margarian took place in Budapest. As PanARMENIAN.Net reporter in Budapest informed, the results of Ramil Safarov's third forensic-psychological examination based on the previous ones were heard. To note, the first examination showed that Ramil Safarov committed the crime deliberately, being in his right mind. According to the second examination, Safarov was insane. Besides, the second examination revealed the elements of posttraumatic syndrome. However the third expert being presumably bribed agreed with the results of the second expertise and rated the presence of posttraumatic syndrome as an extenuating circumstance. The judge for his part disliked the statement and dismissed the expert fining him for exceeding his authority. Moreover, the judge set another examination, the results of which will be presented during the next court session scheduled for March 7.

To remind, February 19, 2004 Armenian Armed Forces lieutenant Gurgen Margaryan, who was taking an English course within NATO Partnership for Peace program was brutally hacked to death by Azeri officer Ramil Safarov. The latter was accused with Article 116.2 of the Hungarian Criminal Code, which provides for a punishment of 10-15 years of deprivation of liberty or life imprisonment.
