“Star Trek Into Darkness” actor Chris Pine joins Patrick Wilson in “Stretch”

Chris Pine has joined the cast of Stretch, Digital Spy said.

The Star Trek Into Darkness actor will reunite with Smokin' Aces director Joe Carnahan on his new film, which stars Patrick Wilson as a limousine driver.

The Wrap reports that Pine's role in the comedy thriller is being kept under wraps.

Wilson's character is described as a down-on-his-luck chauffeur who agrees to drive around a mysterious billionaire in a bid to get out of debt.

Pine will next appear in the title role in Kenneth Branagh's Jack Ryan reboot.

He is also in talks to join Meryl Streep and Johnny Depp in Rob Marshall's adaptation of Into the Woods.
