New OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Belgian Foreign Minister Karel de Gucht stated that among the Organization priorities in the new year will be the issue of settlement of «frozen» conflicts. The OSCE intends to attain progress in the matter, he said. The first programmed statement of the OSCE new Chair will take place in Vienna January 12 at the meeting of the Permanent Council that will consider the priorities in the OSCE activities this year. It is already clear now that OSCE actions regarding the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will hardly significantly differ from those taken in previous years, he emphasized, reported the 525 Baku newspaper.
