In 2005 Armenia undertook corresponding steps to transfer relations with the NATO to a qualitatively new level, Armenian FM Vartan Oskanian stated at today's news conference on the results of the MFA activities in 2005. In his words, today Armenia is involved in all cooperation fields announced by NATO members as partnership major goals and priorities. These are continued dialogue with NATO members on foreign policy and security issues, forming forces for joint action with NATO members, participation in NATO events. According to the FM, approval of the Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP) December 16 was the most important event in 2005. In Oskanian's words, the IPAP is also considered as a most important mechanism for further development of political dialogue with the NATO. Last December during a joint meeting of the NATO Political and Military-Political Committees Armenia officially presented the document and it was approved by the Committees.
