Karabakh Issue Major Topic of OSCE Chair Visit to South Caucasus
Settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will be the main topic of OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Belgian FM Karel de Gucht's visit to the South Caucasus. It should be noted that within the framework of the visit Karel de Gucht will visit Azerbaijan and Armenia, reported Trend agency, referring to the OSCE Office in Baku. Karel de Gucht will arrive in Yerevan January 24.
It should be reminded that January 9 Karel de Gucht stated that among the Organization priorities in the new year will be the issue of settlement of «frozen» conflicts. The OSCE intends to attain progress in the matter, he said. It is already clear now that OSCE actions regarding the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will hardly significantly differ from those taken in previous years, he emphasized
