Today Armenian President Robert Kocharian held a recurrent meeting with EU countries' ambassadors accredited in Armenia and representatives of the European Commission delegation to Armenia, reported the Press Service of the Armenian leader. Kocharian underscored the effectiveness of the EU-Armenia cooperation: both as a structure on the whole and as individual states. The President considered the launching of the talks over the Armenia-EU Action Plan within the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP) a progress. He hoped for the working out of the Plan to be finished soon. «The package presented by the Armenian party evidences we are disposed to serious work and we expect effective activities,» R. Kocharian said.

One of the key subjects at the meeting was the current phase of settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. The Armenian President briefed the meeting participants on it. Some preconditions are available that can boost progress in the talks, Mr. Kocharian remarked. Besides, the Armenian leader answered diplomats' questions that mainly related to relations with neighboring states and the energy record.
