OSCE MG to Arrive in Yerevan February 2 to All Appearance
Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group over settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict plan to arrive in Azerbaijan February 1, 2006, Azeri FM Elmar Mammadyarov stated in a conversation with journalists. «The decision was today made public by OSCE Chairman-in-Office's Personal Representative Andrzej Kasprzyk,» Mammadyarov said. The Azeri MFA has not received the official letter of the co-chairs yet, he added. In Mammadyarov's words, February 2 the co-chairs will leave for Yerevan.

Meanwhile, chair of Azeri Organization Karabakh Liberation (KLO) Akif Nagi stated, «it is time to refuse from the MG services, as it is not able to settle the Karabakh issue in an impartial manner, as the MG co-chairs equate aggressor and victim, urging the latter to compromise.» The KLO leader stated that his organization members will hold a protest action in the form of a picket by the time of arrival of the OSCE MG co-chairs, reported IA Regnum.
