President ratifies decision to relieve Syunik governor from post

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan ratified the government’s decision to relieve Syunik province governor Suren Khachatryan from the post.

The government of Armenia ruled to relieve Mr. Khachatryan of his post following a murder of ex-mayoral candidate in Goris. The governor was dismissed following his own resignation announcement.
