If Gas Pumping Not Resumed within 2 Days Gas Supply to Population Will Be Limited
"If the gas pumping to Armenia is resumed January 28 as Kavkaztransgas Director General Vasiliy Zinovyev promised, no limits will be set to the population," ArmRosgazprom Press Secretary Shushan Sardaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net. In her words, the normal regime of gas delivery to the population is still maintained. However if gas pumping is not resumed within 2 days, the company will limit the delivery to the gas stations and then to the population except the objects of vital importance for the republic. "Everything depends of the terms of the restoration works," she said. Presently ArmRosgazprom pumps gas from the Abovyan underground reservoir. To remind, today Kavkaztransgaz Director General Vasiliy Zinovyev stated that the gas pumping to Armenia and Georgia can be resumed January 28. In his words, the repair works at the gas pipeline that exploded January 22 entered the final stage. "We plan to resume the gas supply on Saturday," he said.
