Today Chairman of the Armenian National Assembly Artur Baghdassaryan made a congratulatory statement on the occasion of the Day of Armenian Army, RA NA press office reported. The Speaker's message says in part, "The Armenian national army has passed the same way as the Republic of Armenia. Formed during the undeclared war the Armenian army won the victory and became even more efficient in peace defending the country and providing its security thus making the political economic development of the state possible. Today we can firmly say that the Armenian National Army is a serious achievement of Armenia's independence. The Armenian National Assembly always pays special attention to the defensive capacity of the state, ratifying agreements in the sphere and passing the essential laws. I wholeheartedly congratulate the officers and soldiers, wish good health and confidence in performing their hard and glorious service."
