Channing Tatum in "White House Down" action-thriller trailer

A new trailer for Channing Tatum's upcoming film "White House Down" features a mystery hacker who is most likely the culprit behind the chaotic situations at the White House. Sitting in a room full of computer screens, the dangerous man is able to bring down the United States Capitol and even Air Force One with a single click on his remote, AceShowbiz reported.

"White House Down" follows Capitol Policeman John Cale who has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer. As he takes his daughter on a tour of the White House, a heavily armed paramilitary group takes over the building, forcing Cale to save the president, his daughter and the country.

Tatum is introduced as John Cale with Jamie Foxx partnering him in his role of President James Sawyer. Maggie Gyllenhaal and James Woods, meanwhile, come aboard to portray secret service agents.

Described as "'Die Hard' in the White House", the action-thriller film from director Roland Emmerich is written by James Vanderbilt, who penned Marc Webb's "The Amazing Spider-Man".

"White House Down" is also supported by Joey King, Rachelle Lefevre, James Woods and Richard Jenkins. It is set to arrive in theaters nationwide on June 28.
