"Having no right to comment on the statements made by the President of another country I would like to note that Armenia does not view conflicts at a single level," RA MFA Spokesman hamlet Gasparian stated when asked to comment on Russian President Vladimir Putin's statement that "decisions on Kosovo should bear universal nature." To remind, during a conference with the government members Vladimir Putin said, "We cannot apply various principles following a single path."

Meanwhile, the Armenian Foreign Ministry says that "each conflict has its causes, historical and legal basis dictating a special logic and ways of settlement. "The self-determination of the people of Karabakh lies in the basis of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. We will press for it independently of the decisions to be taken on the other conflicts," the RA MFA Spokesman said, reported IA Regnum.
