Expert suggests boosting labor productivity to cope with inflation

PanARMENIAN.Net - An economy expert Vilen Khachatryan urged Armenian citizens to decrease expenses and boost labor productivity in the face of inflation caused by gas and electricity price hike.

"Otherwise, Armenian population will have a hard time overcoming RosGazProm-initiated price hike," the expert noted at a June 13 news conference.

"However, had RosGazProm improved its management and refused to use its monopolist privileges, the major increase in gas price could have been avoided," the expert said.

In conclusion, he urged for development of high technologies and educational reforms as a way out of the situation.
