Kocharian to Leave for Sweden on Official Visit Today
Today Armenian President Robert Kocharian will depart for Sweden on a formal call, reported RA leader's press service. The Armenian delegation will comprise the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Economic Development, Transport and Communications, Central Bank President, RA Ambassador to Sweden and other officials. February 8 Robert Kocharian will meet with Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf. The Armenian President is also scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Goran Persson. After the meeting an intergovernmental agreement on boosting and mutual protection of investments will be signed. Within the 3-day visit the Armenian President will meet with Bjorn von Sydow, the Speaker of the Swedish parliament, and Goran Lennmarker, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly special representative for Nagorno Karabakh. President Kocharian is expected to deliver a speech at the Institute of Foreign Policy of Sweden and meet with representatives of the Stockholm stock exchange, as well as with Investor group and Ericsson company administration. February 9 Robert Kocharian will leave Stockholm for Paris to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
