Armenian MOD Called Candidate for Ombudsman of Armenia Liar

PanARMENIAN.Net - Press Secretary of the Armenian Defense Minister, colonel Seyran Shahsuvaryan officially denied Ruben Torosyan's statement that Armenian MOD head Serge Sargsyan never served in army and thus he cannot hold high state offices.



"In 1972-1974 Serge Sargsyan served in the Soviet Army in Kazakhstan, then in the Ural, in Chelyabinsk district, where he was called up from Yerevan November 26, 1972, echelon 18955. S. Sargsyan was registered in a hospice at: room 182, corps 2, II Nork Massive, Yerevan. There is also a registration made in the military commissariat of Yerevan that number U-75 on registering draftees in 1954. Ruben Torosyan was informed about it orally and in the written form many times," says the statement of the Armenian MOD Press Service.
