Lenovo unveils ThinkPad S531 Ultrabook

Lenovo has launched the ThinkPad S531 Ultrabook, a Windows 8 machine aimed at the business market, Digial Spy said.

The PC features a 15.6-inch display that can be laid flat at 180 degrees, and is powered by an Intel 3rd Generation Ivy Bridge processor.

Lenovo claims that the machine offers a 15% boost over its predecessor, the ThinkPad S431, despite missing out on Intel's next-generation Haswell chip.

Other features include a backlit keyboard, USB 3.0, and support for up to 10GB of memory and 500GB of storage space.

The ThinkPad S531 is not equipped with touchscreen functionality, with users required to navigate Windows 8 with a five-button glass click pad, but it is said to be fully spill-resistant.
