“Sin City” helmer’s “Machete Kills” release date moved

PanARMENIAN.Net - Robert Rodriguez's upcoming Machete Kills has changed its U.S. release date once again, Digital Spy said.

The sequel, starring Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Sofia Vergara, and Lady GaGa, will no longer be getting a September 13 release. Open Road Films confirmed that the movie has been pushed to an October 4 opening.

Another Rodriguez property, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, was recently pushed back almost a year from its initial release date.

Machete Kills will focus on Danny Trejo as an ex-Federal agent who must stop a madman revolutionary, played by Mel Gibson. Alexa Vega, Antonio Banderas, and Demian Bichir will also star.
