2 Armenians wounded as bus attacked in Beirut

Three teenagers armed with knives attacked a passenger bus carrying about 60 people in eastern part of Beirut, Lebanon, on Wednesday, June 26.

As editor-in-chief of Aztag daily Shahan Kandaharian told PanARMENIAN.Net, 9 people were wounded, including 2 Armenians, one of the being from Lebanon and the other from Syria.

The bus was bound for a shooting site of an Iranian studio.

“Those injured are out of danger,” Mr. Kandaharian said.
