Parliaments of Armenia and Bulgaria Can Promote Strengthening Inter-State Relations
Today Armenian President Robert Kocharian met with Chair of the National Assembly of Bulgaria Georgi Pirinski, reported the Press Service of the Armenian leader. Kocharian appreciated the current level of bilateral cooperation. He noted traditional ties and the spiritual and cultural commonness make the two countries and nations more closer. In Pirinski's words, Parliaments of Armenia and Bulgaria can promote strengthening inter-state relations. Having emphasized the common urge to integration into European structures as priority tasks of two countries' foreign policy, the parties emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation in European integration. The Armenian leader said Armenia today works seriously to work out the Action Plan within the European Neighborhood Policy. The interlocutors underscored the role of transport infrastructure that connect the two countries and the importance of joint ferry transportation.
