Yerevan to host pan-European forum![]() July 2, 2013 - 13:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan will host a pan-European forum on the European standards-based rule of law in and limits of authorities’ power in the EU states. Armenia is hosting the forum in its capacity as Council of Europe Ministers Committee chair. The event, to host over 80 representatives of international organizations from 32 countries, will be opened July 3 with a greeting address by parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan. Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, the President of the European Court of Human Rights Dean Spielmann, Venice Commission President Gianni Buquicchio will attend the event. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
