EU: Rambouillet Meeting Not End of Karabakh Talks
According to official representatives of the European Union, the visit of EU Commissioner for External Relations and ENP Benita Ferrero-Waldner and the talks did not have notable outcomes. Meanwhile, there are also political evaluations of the talks available. «The Action Plans of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia are being worked out very quickly and effectively and the next round of talks between the EU and South Caucasus states is planned in March,» Benita Ferrero-Waldner's Spokesperson Emma Udwin said. «The positive thing is the fact that, according the parties, the meeting of Armenian and Azeri Presidents in Rambouillet was another step in the talks over settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, but not its completion,» stated E. Udwin, reported RFE/RL.
