"In two or three years the Nagorno Karabakh problem will become extremely pressing. The Russian Foreign Ministry once again said Moscow is ready to act as guarantor of the Karabakh conflict settlement," Vadim Gustov, the head of the Federation Council Committee on the CIS Affairs stated February 21. He noted that many people in Nagorno Karabakh were removed from their homeland, transport communication is absent and the economy doesn't develop on the region, since the sector of the Azeri railway lying through the NK territory doesn't function.
