EU Commissioner: Armenia among Eastern Partnership program leaders

PanARMENIAN.Net - Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with the European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Fule in Yerevan.

At the meeting, Nalbandian hailed the progress in Armenia-EU cooperation, thanking the latter for continuing support in the sector of reforms. The parties further focused on the European Partnership program.

Fule, in turn, gave high assessment to the EU-Armenia ties, noting Armenia among the leaders of the European Partnership program.

The Commissioner also expressed hope for the signing of association agreement during the Vilnius-hosted EU summit in November.

In conclusion, the parties stressed the importance of inking documents on readmission and visa regime facilitation.
