Nokia rolls out Lumia 1020 smartphone featuring 41-mp camera![]() July 12, 2013 - 11:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Nokia has officially unveiled its Lumia 1020 smartphone, which features a 41-megapixel camera, Digital Spy said. The device runs Windows Phone 8 and comes with a 4.5-inch AMOLED screen and 32GB of internal storage, as well as 7GB of free SkyDrive cloud storage. The camera has a Xenon flash and utilises Nokia's PureView technology. A new application called Nokia Pro Camera helps users take better photos by demonstrating how settings will affect the final image or video. Dual capture also allows the Nokia Lumia 1020 to simultaneously take a high resolution 38-megapixel image alongside a 5-megapixel version which is easier to share with friends. The camera benefits from optical image stabilisation and Rich Recording, which handles sound pressure levels six times louder than conventional smartphone microphones. Other specifications include a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm S4 processor and 2GB of RAM. It also has a 4x optical zoom while recording video in 1080p, and 6x while shooting in 720p. Accessories from Nokia include a wireless charging cover and a camera grip, which has a built-in, rechargeable battery and a screw mount for tripods.
