Representatives of the Armenian community gathered on February 28 at a cross stone placed in Bratislava to mark the 18th anniversary of the Sumgait massacres. The leader of the community, Ashot Grigorian, said the Slovakian press regularly reports on the Sumgait massacres on this day every year. He also said his organization is outraged by the anti-Armenian hysteria raised by Azerbaijan. He pointed out that the Armenians all over the world watch the process and stand ready to support their homeland and Artsakh to show the potential of 10 million Armenians worldwide, reported Yerkir Online.
