At the invitation of the OSCE Office in Yerevan, the newly-elected Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan visited the Office today to meet with Ambassador Vladimir Pryakhin, Head of the Office. OSCE Office mission in Yerevan told PanARMENIAN.Net. In the course of the meeting, the interlocutors shared ideas and exchanged views on future cooperation. Ambassador Pryakhin congratulated Mr. Harutyunyan with the new appointment and expressed readiness of the OSCE Office in Yerevan to further continue close cooperation with the Armenian Ombudsman institution, which has been developed since its establishment in 2004. The Head of the OSCE Office in Yerevan invited the newly elected ombudsman to participate in the events to be organized by the OSCE that are devoted to human rights in 2006.
