Ukrainian human rights defender urges for Genocide recognition

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ukrainian human rights defender Tatyana Montyan urged for the Armenian Genocide recognition.

Tatyana Montyan expressed her support for the initiative to recognize the Genocide, noting that Ukraine must follow the suit of the numerous countries worldwide in recognizing the crime against humanity, Analitika.at.ua said.

On June 6, a draft resolution on the recognition of the Armenian Genocide was submitted to Ukraine’s Supreme Council. The bill was initiated by parliamentarians Vilen Shatvoryan and Arsen Avakov.
