WB Awarded Armenia for Best Practice of Programs in 1993-2002
The World Bank has awarded Armenia for Best Practice of Programs in 1993-2002. As the Press Service of the Ministry of Economy and Finance told PanARMENIAN.Net, the World Bank awards the prize for the first time. The award confirms positive indicators in developing programs, ensuring development, their implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Since the beginning of the WB activities in Armenia, its Board of Directors has approved 41 programs totaling $920.9 million, $749 out of which are already spent. Today's program package includes 17 programs of a total cost of $280.4 million, $172.1 million out of which are not spent yet.
