Lady GaGa unveils "Applause" lyric video, promo clip (video)

Lady GaGa unveils

PanARMENIAN.Net - Within days after filming the footage for it herself with a hand-held camera at popular West Hollywood gay club Micky's, Lady GaGa has now unveiled the lyric video for her "ARTPOP" album lead track "Applause". It proved to be one wild night of partying with drag queens and fans who trooped to the hotspot following a peculiar invitation the iconic pop star sent out to her Little Monsters via Twitter, AceShowbiz said.

The clip's premiere met some delays, causing eager fans to wait for about three hours more before they can see their Mother Monster in her "Applause" cover art make-up. GaGa made light of the momentary setback and wittingly tweeted, "#lateyGaGa," obviously less stressed and upset in comparison to a few days prior when she went on a Twitter rant after hackers leaked her new single online.

Despite losing her cool over incidents such as those, GaGa is obviously not letting it derail her from going full blast in promoting her new music. In her latest "ARTPOP/Applause" promo video, GaGa applies reverse psychology on her Little Monsters in a series of messages that are flashed onscreen as GaGa stares into the camera wearing a plastic face mask.

After warning viewers with "if you don't like pop music, you should turn this off," it declares, "Lady GaGa is no longer relevant" and that, "she's a flop." Then it goes on to discourage people about the song with "DO NOT buy her new single 'Applause' on iTunes" and "give her no A-P-P-L-A-U-S-E. DON'T dance to the song at all" before finally telling people they should not buy GaGa's new album, "ARTPOP" on November 11.
