Cher unveils "Woman's World" music video (video)

Cher unveils

PanARMENIAN.Net - After 12 long years, iconic diva Cher is back to making music, premiering her new song "Woman's World" complete with music video today. The 67-year-old singer brings out her wide array of wigs for the visuals of her new dance track that's sure to be another club banger for the next many weeks, AceShowbiz said.

For the almost four-minute clip, Cher whips out a headgear made out of shredded newspaper, a long, frizzy redhead imitation and a white disco hairpiece with black speckles. For her outfits, however, she "borrows" from other different stars in the video, ordinary women of varying races, appearances and ages, as split screens mix and match their bodies with the head of the Goddess of Pop.

"Woman's World" is the first single to be released from her forthcoming comeback album "Closer to the Truth", serving as the much-awaited follow-up to her 2001 studio album "Living Proof". It was debuted around the time Cher performed it live back in June on the season finale of "The Voice".

Although it took her more than a decade to return to recording, Cher has been keeping busy performing live, that includes a three-year Las Vegas residency. She has also managed to squeeze in the duet "The Greatest Thing" with Lady GaGa, which got leaked online last week after hackers also leaked the "ARTPOP" artist's new single "Applause".
