LG has revealed that it is planning to release a range of new portable devices.
The company's mobile communications head Dimitar Valev at LG Bulgaria told Dnevnik.bg that a tablet, phablet, smartwatch and Firefox OS device are in the pipeline.
Valev claims that LG will re-enter the tablet market with a new product by the end of the year, which is tipped to be a 9.8-inch V500 "G Pad" device seen going through the US Federal Communications Commission.
Next year the company plans to launch a phablet and a new smartwatch. Valev hinted that LG's latest stab at wrist technology could feature a flexible LCD screen.
The manufacturer will also continue to experiment with the Windows Phone operating system, but Valev said LG is looking into Firefox OS if it proves a success.
Earlier on August 21 LG unveiled its new LG Display smartphone with a 5.5-inch UHD display.
