At least seven people were killed and dozens wounded outside one of two mosques hit by explosions on Friday in Lebanon's northern city of Tripoli, a Reuters witness said, according to the news agency.

"I see seven bodies inside several burned cars," said the witness, speaking from near the Taqwa mosque where the first explosion went off.
