Casey Affleck, David Lowery to reunite for “To Be Two” sci-fi

PanARMENIAN.Net - Casey Affleck will star in science fiction movie To Be Two. He will reunite with Ain't Them Bodies Saints director David Lowery on the film, Digital Spy said citing The Hollywood Reporter.

Lowery has closed a deal to adapt a short story from Paul Broks's collection Into the Silent Land: Travels in Neuropsychology.

The story To Be Two or Not to Be centres around a future in which transportation technology is commonplace, creating copies of people in distant locations while vaporising the original.

When a machine malfunctions, the original is not destroyed, leaving a man to face issues of identity when he comes face-to-face with his exact copy.

To Be Two is said to be tonally similar to Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Looper, which saw both actors play the same man from different periods in time.
