The camera, which is Sony's new mid-range mirrorless model, features a new 16.1-megapixel sensor and the ability to shoot up to 25,600 ISO. On top of the improved sensor is proper Wi-Fi connectivity, which allows you to remote control the camera via an Android or iOS enabled device. You can also upload shots directly from the camera to the internet. Sony has included its PlayMemories camera app suite with the NEX-5T. This means it is possible to download apps directly to the device. Applications range from additional quick retouch features to a clever sequential shooting mode. NFC functionality also allows you to tap devices on the camera to share pictures. Finally, users can enjoy an improved Fast Hybrid AF, which should help the camera focus even quicker.
