First "Ravenswood" trailer unveils key characters (video) August 28, 2013 - 18:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - After teasing it through a couple of promo videos, ABC Family has finally dropped the first official trailer for "Ravenswood". The latest sneak peek doesn't share actual footage from the "Pretty Little Liars" spin-off, but does feature the key characters for the first time. In the trailer, five teenagers, including Tyler Blackburn's Caleb, roam through the town after raven feathers mysteriously fall from the sky. They end up gathering at a cemetery, where they stand in front of an angel statue. Prior to the trailer debut, ABC Family launched a Twitter-driven campaign to unveil a clue to the upcoming drama series. Each piece of an image was tweeted by the show's stars. After assembled together, it reveals a picture of a tomb, which after a closer look in the trailer features an old portrait of a man who bears striking resemblance to Caleb. "Ravenswood" will premiere October 22 after "Liars" special Halloween episode. Joining Blackburn as series regulars are Nicole Anderson, Britne Oldford, Brett Dier and Merritt Patterson. Justin Bruening, who had a recurring role on "Grey's Anatomy", was recently cast in a multi-episode role as Benjamin Price, a teacher at the local high school. The "Ravenswood" first trailer was debuted during the "Liars" summer finale, which revealed that Alison is still alive and Cece Drake as the person behind Red Coat. The biggest shock, however, was when it was revealed that Ezra turned out to be "A".
