Vincent Cassel joins star-studded thriller

PanARMENIAN.Net - Philip Seymour Hoffman is no longer committed to "Child 44" following Vincent Cassel's inclusion in the Daniel Espinosa-directed movie, which has been filming since June. Tom Hardy, Noomi Rapace, Gary Oldman and Joel Kinnaman also star in it, AceShowbiz said citing Deadline.

Adapted from Tom Rob Smith's thriller novel, "Child 44" is a story of a military cop investigating a series of child murders in 1950s Stalinist Russia. Richard Price provides the script, with Ridley Scott, who was once set to serve behind the lens, and Michael Schaefer serving as producers. Erik Feig and Jim Miller are overseeing for Lionsgate.
