January 26 "Betrayed Armenia" documentary will be shown on BBC. As reported by the Armenian Genocide Resource Center, the film tells about the impact of the fact of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Empire in 1915 on Turkey's relations with its western allies. In the opinion of the film authors, today Ankara uses newer factors to put pressure on the countries using the term "genocide" to acknowledge the tragic events of the beginning of the 20-th century. The film also tells about the breaking of the promise to recognize the fact of the Genocide by US presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
