Universal shifts Luke Evans-starring “Dracula” release date

PanARMENIAN.Net - Universal is shifting the release date of upcoming vampire film Dracula by two months, to Oct., The Hollywood Reporter said.

The film, directed by Gary Shore and starring Luke Evans, was originally slated for Aug. 8, 2014.

Produced by Michael De Luca, the film tells the origin story of the man who became the most famous vampire in the world.

The Book of Life, an animated comedy, is the only other film currently slated for release on Oct. 3, 2014.

Dracula has been rumored to be one of the Universal titles that Legendary Entertainment could agree to co-finance under its new deal with the studio.
