Daniel Radcliffe in Joe Hill novel-based “Horns” clip

PanARMENIAN.Net - Horns has released its first clip, Digital Spy said.

The video previewed by Collider shows Daniel Radcliffe receiving a hostile welcome on a man's doorstep.

The Woman in Black actor stars as Ig Perrish, a young man who wakes up one morning to find horns inexplicably growing out of his head.

Granted disturbing new powers, Ig sets out to solve the mystery of his girlfriend Merrin's horrific murder a year earlier - a murder in which he is still the prime suspect.

The film is based on Joe Hill's novel of the same name.

Juno Temple, Max Minghella, James Remar, Joe Anderson and Kelli Garner also star in the Alexandre Aja-directed project.

Horns premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, but is yet to be officially picked up or announce a release date.

““Horns” ventures briefly but effectively into the phantasmagorical when it creates an imaginary treehouse, an otherworldly vision of all that is best and most pure about Merrin and Ig’s love for each other. Its writerly pyrotechnics reach their peak when Mr. Hill presents this vision from two perspectives: the Good Ig’s, safe inside the treehouse, and the Devil Ig’s, fighting from the outside to get in.

This is a book that says, jokes about and illustrates why goodness and desecration are always connected. There’s no other explanation for a character who can cook food just by breathing flames on it yet fights to stay pure of heart,” a review published at The New York Times said.
