RECURRENT MEETING OF ARMENIAN AND AZERI PRESIDENTS PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES ON KARABAKH SETTLEMENT TO BE HELD JANUARY 21 IN STRASBOURG

PanARMENIAN.Net - The recurrent meeting of the personal representatives of the Armenian and Azeri presidents on settling the Nagorno Karabakh conflict will be held in Strasbourg January 21. Azeri foreign minister Vilayat Guliyev reported. In his words, deputy foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia Araz Azimov and Tatul Margarian will continue consultations within the framework of the Nagorno Karabakh peace process. Let us note that, as earlier reported by Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian, the mechanism of the meetings of the presidential personal representatives is called to supplement the negotiations between the presidents while increasing the periodicity of contacts. V.Oskanian said that the main principles of negotiations in Paris and Key West dominated at the negotiations. The latest meeting of the personal representatives of the presidents was held November 15, 2002 in Vienna.
