Armenia posts 18,5% state budget income increase

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s state budget income for January-August 2013 totaled AMD 696,3 billion to provide 88,4 -percentile implementation of a governmental program.

Over the reporting period, state budget income rose by 18,5% (AMD 108,5 billion) against the same period in 2012, with the growth achieved through AMD 657 billion in tax income and state duty collected.

The budget expenditures amounted to AMD 634 billion (81,8% program implementation.) The expenditures grew by 7,6% (AMD 43,3 billion) against the 2012 results.

In January-September, budget deficit comprised AMD 6,2 billion against program-stipulated AMD 57,4 billion. The deficit was financed AMD 20,2 billion from internal sources and AMD 14 billion from external ones.

Over the reporting period, the budget was implemented with a surplus of AMD 62,3 billion against AMD 12,4 billion planned, Finance Ministry press service reported.
