They will star in “Strangerland,” an Oz mystery drama about a couple whose teenage children go missing in the Outback, Variety said. The film is directed by Kim Farrant, from a script by Fiona Seres and Michael Kinirons. Production is by Naomi Wenck and Macdara Kelleher, for Dragonfly Pictures and Fastnet Films. Financiers include Screen Australia and gap financier Worldview Entertainment. Transmission Films will handle local Australian distribution, while France’s Wild Bunch represents the picture in international territories. Christopher Woodrow, Molly Conners, Maria Cestone, Sarah E. Johnson, Andrew Mackie and Richard Payten are set as as exec producers.
