"In the Heart of the Sea" Chris Hemsworth adventure film on-set picsOctober 31, 2013 - 11:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A first look at Chris Hemsworth-starring new adventure film "In the Heart of the Sea" is shared by director Ron Howard on Twitter and Facebook, AceShowbiz said. In behind-the-scene pictures, they are seen filming a scene in an indoor tank. Some actors are captured on a small sailboat struggling to keep it upright as they are sprayed with a large wave of water. The movie is based on Nathaniel Philbrick's 2000 book "In the Heart of the Sea" about the sinking of the New England whaling ship Essex in the winter of 1820. The crew was pushed to their limits to stay alive when their ship was stalked and ultimately destroyed by a whale of mammoth size. They were lost at sea braving storms, starvation, panic and despair. This is Hemsworth's second collaboration with the "Frost/Nixon" director after their car-racing drama "Rush" released this September. Benjamin Walker, Cillian Murphy, Tom Holland, Brendan Gleeson and Ben Whishaw join the "Thor" actor in the cast ensemble. The film hasn't got a release date.
