“Prometheus 2” sci-fi script finished, Ridley Scott reveals

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ridley Scott has revealed that the Prometheus 2 script is finished, Digital Spy said.

The director also said that he is currently working on Blade Runner 2.

"Prometheus 2 is written," Scott told Empire. "Prometheus was a great experience for me. Chasing number two, we can start evolving that grand idea."

He added that he is "working on [Blade Runner 2] right now". "That will happen sooner or later," he said.

Scott has two projects lined up already for 2014 and 2015 - Exodus and The Forever War.

The director's newest release The Counsellor recently suffered one of the weakest openings in his career.

Harrison Ford has said that he has spoken to Scott about returning for Blade Runner 2.

Prometheus is a 2012 British science fiction film directed by Ridley Scott, written by Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof, and starring Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green, and Charlize Theron.

It is set in the late 21st century and centers on the crew of the spaceship Prometheus as it follows a star map discovered among the artifacts of several ancient Earth cultures. Seeking the origins of humanity, the crew arrives on a distant world and discovers a threat that could cause the extinction of the human race.
