Ameriabank offers first Eurobonds in Armenian market

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ameriabank CJSC became the first in Armenia to offer an opportunity to purchase Armenian-issued Eurobonds, circulating in the international capital market, for US dollars.

According to the bank’s press service, a demand for the Eurobonds passed the $3 billion mark; a lower-than-the-initial price was formed as a result, providing investors with a yield of 6,25%.

On September 19, Armenia completed the first issue of Eurobonds, with the emission volume of $ 700 million, 7-year maturity date and interest rate of 6%. DeutscheBankAG, HSBCBankplc and J.P.Morgan Securitiespl acted as main underwriters.

The bank also enables transactions through a range of financial tools including stocks, bonds, futures, foreign exchange (Forex) depository certificates, in addition to Armenian Eurobonds.
