Samsung working on Galaxy phone with wraparound display: reportNovember 15, 2013 - 16:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Samsung is reportedly working on a Galaxy device with a wraparound display, Digital Spy reported. The handset is said to be based on an upgraded version of the Youm technology found in the Galaxy Round, giving users the ability to view information from various different angles. Bloomberg claims that the wraparound screen Galaxy device will feature three sides that operate independently from one another, bringing multi-window functionality to the smartphone world. Samsung is yet to confirm the device, but the report goes on to speculate that it could see a beta release in the company's native South Korea, as was the case with the Galaxy Round. The firm recently pledged to release smart devices with foldable displays by 2015, based on the flexible display technology it showcased at CES earlier this year. Samsung is allegedly planning to announce its wraparound device before the end of the year.
