"The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" unveils new TV spot (video)  November 18, 2013 - 15:10 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug has released a new TV spot, Digital Spy said. The latest advert is an action-packed teaser featuring battles between dwarves, elves, goblins and giants spiders. It also offers another glimpse at Benedict Cumberbatch's gigantic titular dragon. Peter Jackson's JRR Tolkien adaptation picks up from last year's An Unexpected Journey. It will see Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) continue his quest to help rid the dwarven kingdom of the evil dragon Smaug. Sir Ian McKellen, Richard Armitage, Sylvester McCoy, Evangeline Lilly, Lee Pace, Luke Evans, Ken Stott, James Nesbitt and Orlando Bloom will also star in the movie. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will be released on December 13, with final film There and Back Again following in December 2014.
