Tom Hardy-starring “Mad Max: Fury Road” release date set

PanARMENIAN.Net - Mad Max: Fury Road is now due for release in summer 2015, Digital Spy said.

The long-awaited Mad Max reboot sees Tom Hardy in the titular role previously occupied by Mel Gibson.

Warner Bros and Village Roadshow will bring the reboot to the big screen on May 15, 2015, 30 years after the last movie in the franchise Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.

George Miller is back at the helm once again, with Nicholas Hoult and Charlize Theron lined up to star in the movie, which will open in 3D.

Miller previously described the plot, saying: "Mad Max is caught up with a group of people fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by the Imperator Furiosa (Charlize Theron).

"This movie is an account of the Road War which follows. It is based on the Word Burgers of the History Men and eyewitness accounts of those who survived."
