BBC One unveils Cumberbatch’s

PanARMENIAN.Net - BBC One builds up the anticipation to "Sherlock" return with a new promo for the upcoming season 3. While it shares only a few scenes from the new installment, it does entice fans to look forward to the third season premiere by teasing Sherlock's reappearance, AceShowbiz said.

The video features a tombstone for the title character as his closest ones believed he's dead before news of his return from the dead causes Twitter frenzy with one fan exclaiming, "Oh. My. God!" John Watson, rocking mustache, gives a look of disbelief while another scene sees Sherlock standing atop a rooftop.

"Sherlock" season 3 will premiere in the U.S. January 19, 2014 on PBS. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman reprise their roles as the eccentric detective and his partner respectively.

The new season is expected to reveal how Sherlock survived the fall and feature Watson and Mary Morstan's (Amanda Abbington) wedding.
